Girls Basketball State Tournament Bound

Lady Dots are Headed to State Tourney

Photo courtesy of Wes Wilson PhotographyThe Lady Dots are headed to the WV State High School Girls' Basketball Tournament for the first time since 1999.  Capping off their season record of 18-7, they defeated Mingo Central 45-38 in the Class AA Region 4 tournament to earn their berth in the State Tournament.

With this victory, the Lady Dots captured the #6 seed in the tournament and will play #3 North Marion at the Civic Center on Thursday, March 9 at 9:30 am.  Tickets for this game will be sold at PHS during lunch on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Student tickets are $6 if purchased at school and adult tickets are $8.  All tickets will be $8 at the Civic Center.  There will also be student buses available for $2 per student.  You must purchase your bus ticket at lunch on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.  Come and cheer on the Lady Dots!
