WES Afternoon bus change for Wednesday, March 11, 2026! This is the same bus change we had yesterday. Bus 1802 will not run again this afternoon. Students who usually ride that bus and go to Winfield Baptist will ride bus 205 today. Students who live in Radwin and Woodland Forest will ride bus 224 today. All other students from that bus will ride home on bus 206 today. Thank you!

Last week 2nd graders, 4th graders, and students from Mrs. S Cobb and Mr. Clark's classes brought home invitations to the Easter Luncheon. The luncheon is scheduled for Friday, March 20th. Reservations and money are due no later than this Friday, March 13.
Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and Mr. Hall's families, do not worry! We have not forgotten the Christmas Luncheon! It has been rescheduled to Friday, April 10. More information will come home soon about this event, but reservations and payments already received will be honored.

Just a few reminders from WES!

2 - School will be in session on Monday, 2/16/26.
3 - For the safety of students and families, and to protect school property and neighboring properties, please follow all traffic rules and do not cut through grassy areas around parking lots to avoid traffic. We appreciate City National Bank allowing parents to utilize their parking areas during pick up. Let's be courteous neighbors and stay on the pavement, drive slowly and safely, and follow all traffic rules.

We regret to inform you that the luncheon - originally scheduled for Christmas, then rescheduled for tomorrow, February 6th - had been postponed out of an abundance of caution due to the forecasted weather for tomorrow. This event, hosted by our Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and Mr. Hall's classes will be rescheduled. We are working to establish a new date and will share that information with you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and support!

This is a reminder that choir will start back this week: Tuesday 3:10-4:10 for fourth grade, and Wednesday 3:10-4:10 for fifth grade. Dismissal is at office doors. Please be ready to scan the QR code. No student will be permitted to attend choir without a signed permission slip. If your child was in choir in the fall, they do not need to bring another permission slip back. Thank you!

Good evening WES families! We are excited to see students tomorrow on a 2 hour delay schedule! *Since we had 3 NTI days last week, students should be prepared to turn in packet work for NTI days 1, 2, & 3 tomorrow. *Students should bring iPads back to school tomorrow! *Lunch tomorrow will be chicken nuggets. An updated February menu will be posted tomorrow. *Please check PCS website or social media for a list of buses that will not run tomorrow. If your child's bus doesn't run and you cannot get them to school, please send a note stating that as the reason when they return and the absence will be excused. *The parent drop off loop has been treated by PCS but may still have some icy patches. If parents feel unsure about the road's condition tomorrow morning they may make a turn at the baseball field when they are dropping off for morning arrival. Thanks and have a good evening!

We are happy to announce that we have rescheduled the Christmas Luncheon for Friday, February 6th and it will be Super Bowl themed! Our hosts, kindergarten, 3rd grade, and Mr Hall's classes will be bringing home more information today!

Hello WES families! As we begin second semester, please know we will also be using new QR codes at dismissal doors for student sign out beginning Tuesday afternoon. The code you have bookmarked from the beginning of year will no longer be valid. Please see staff on duty to scan the second semester codes for sign out tomorrow. Thank you!

Good morning! Yesterday out of an abundance of caution we sent iPads home with students. Please make sure your child brings their iPad back to school today. Thank you!

Happy New Year! Before break students brought home NTI work packets and an iPad. Tomorrow, we need all students to bring their iPads back to school! Please keep the NTI work packet at home as we may need it later in the winter. We hope you had a fantastic break, and we are excited to see you (and your iPad) again tomorrow morning! Thank you!

Out of an abundance of caution, and in preparation for potential weather conditions after Christmas Break, WES will send NTI day packets home tomorrow with your child if they are in attendance. Detailed instructions and contact information will be included. Please review the information, but do not complete the work unless PCS needs to utilize an NTI day due to weather related closures in the future. Tomorrow is holiday sock day!
