Did you know...PHS seniors can attend school half a day and work a job the other half? Students participating in Career and Work Skills Training, a co-op style program, attend school in the morning to fulfill their senior course requirements, and are given four credits for completing the CWST program.
Students who apply for the CWST program are interviewed and selected based on responsibility, attendance, and good academic standing. They attend class at PHS one afternoon a month, after the initial orientation weeks, and complete online assignments throughout the school year to fulfill the classroom requirements of the program. Students are graded based on evaluations by their employer and teacher, Mrs. Null.
